IV awards scholarships for high-potential students from Ukraine

The Federation of Austrian Industries will award three scholarships of EUR 6,000 each for high-potential students from Ukraine again in 2025
2 min read · 21. February 2025

In 2025 the Federation of Austrian Industries will again award three scholarships worth EUR 6,000 each to high-potential students from Ukraine who are studying a STEM subject (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) at an Austrian university or university of applied sciences or who will be doing so shortly after attending a University Preparation Programme.

The aim is for highly qualified, motivated and communicative students from Ukraine to contribute the expertise in promoting STEM talent that they have acquired in their home country to the Austrian school system. This exciting knowledge transfer is to take place with the help of workshops developed and conducted by the students themselves for interested and talented pupils at secondary level II in the summer of 2025.

The selection will be based on a written application, a short application video, an appealing workshop concept, the completeness of the documents and subsequently on the recommendation of a jury consisting of experts from the Federation of Austrian Industries and the University of Vienna.

The closing date for applications is 14 March 2025. A decision on the awarding of the scholarships will be made by 15 April 2025 at the latest.
