Supporting Career Paths for Displaced Academics in Austria

The event provided a platform for master’s and PhD students, recent graduates, and academics with displaced backgrounds to explore career opportunities in Austria.

The event featured insightful presentations, discussions, and a practical workshop, all aimed at equipping participants with the tools and knowledge to navigate the Austrian job market. Notable speakers included Dr. Hadil Najjar from JKU Linz who shared her expertise on overcoming challenges and leveraging opportunities in the labor market and Anna Wall, who presented the programmes and services by MORE THAN ONE PERSPECTIVE – MTOP.  

A highlight of the day was the hands-on workshop led by Clara Köck, which offered practical advice on crafting successful job applications and mastering the hiring process. The event concluded with a networking session, allowing attendees to connect with peers and experts.
