Publication on Citizen Science and Artificial Intelligence

Citizen science utilises the collaboration of volunteers, while AI can complement human efforts through automated data processing and analysis.

The issue shows how AI technologies such as deep learning or anomaly detection are used in citizen science projects to speed up data processing, improve data quality and extend the reach of projects.
