Workshop series on Citizen Science: “Volunteer management in Citizen Science”
mit:forschen! Gemeinsam Wissen schaffen invites you to a free series of training workshops from March 9 to 24, 2026, offering a practical introduction to citizen science and teaching key skills for developing and implementing participatory research projects.
The workshops are aimed at anyone who is new to citizen science and would like to carry out their own projects. Interactive sessions will introduce the basics, methods, and tools, as well as providing opportunities for discussion and networking.
This third module deals with professional volunteer management as a key success factor for citizen science projects. Using a process cycle, it teaches the essential steps and framework conditions for treating citizen scientists with respect and ensuring their long-term involvement.
