ScienceUs: Citizen Science and Climate Adaptation – Science Meets Decision Makers
The ScienceUs project invites you to a one-day specialist event in Brussels. Entitled “From Citizen Science to Decision-Making for Climate Change Adaptation,” the event will focus on the question and practice of how results from citizen science projects can be better incorporated into political decision-making processes for climate change adaptation.
The event is aimed at project managers, researchers, decision-makers, funding institutions, and all stakeholders involved in the intersection of citizen science, data, politics, and administration. Lectures, interactive formats, and discussions will focus on concrete mechanisms, challenges, and practical approaches for more inclusive and effective political processes.
The aim is to explore ways in which observations, data, and knowledge from citizen science initiatives can be increasingly incorporated into political planning and adaptation strategies.
