Workshop series on Citizen Science: “Introduction to Citizen Science”
mit:forschen! Gemeinsam Wissen schaffen invites you to a free series of training workshops from March 9 to 24, 2026, offering a practical introduction to citizen science and teaching key skills for developing and implementing participatory research projects.
The workshops are aimed at anyone who is new to citizen science and would like to carry out their own projects. Interactive sessions will introduce the basics, methods, and tools, as well as providing opportunities for discussion and networking.
This first module will provide a thorough introduction to the concept of citizen science and present different forms of participation. It will also showcase national and international practical examples and outline key contact points and support services.
