Austrian Citizen Science Conference 2026
The 10th Austrian Citizen Science Conference will take place in Leoben in February 2026.
Under the motto “Cycles of Knowledge,” the Technical University of Leoben, the OeAD-Centre for Citizen Science, and the Citizen Science Network Austria invite you to Leoben (Styria) from February 24-26.
The motto highlights the central role of citizens in the research process as knowledge carriers. It emphasizes that knowledge is generated, shared, and developed together with citizens, researchers, companies, and authorities. This collaboration enables sustainable innovation processes based on exchange, responsibility, and co-creation. The conference invites participants to make these knowledge cycles visible, learn from each other, and jointly develop solutions that actively shape our future.
Registration is open from November 3, 2025, to February 3, 2026, with early bird registration at a discounted price available until January 9, 2026.
