A framework for transdisciplinary and participatory research
The OIS Centre of the Ludwig Boltzmann Society invites you to attend the webinar ‘Focusing on societal impacts: A framework for transdisciplinary and participatory research’ on 12 February 2026.
The Working Group on Impact of the Society for Transdisciplinary and Participatory Research (GTPF) has developed an orientation framework in an interdisciplinary team (e.g. from urban development, mobility, innovation, citizen science and participatory health research) that systematises the range of different societal impacts and supports the development of evaluation and monitoring concepts. It includes criteria and exemplary indicators for the quality of transdisciplinary and participatory research processes as well as their outcomes and impact. The event will present the orientation framework and illustrate its application using an example.
The webinar is aimed at transdisciplinary and participatory researchers as well as anyone interested in the societal impacts of this research.
