ECS Collaboration Session: Research Infrastructure for excellent Citizen Science

On 1 April 2025 from 11:00 to 12:30, an ECS Collaboration Session will take place, organised by the RIECS-Concept project. The aim of the project, in which the OeAD is involved as a partner, is to design a European research infrastructure for excellence in Citizen Science.
The planned infrastructure networks citizen resources such as mobile phones and computers with scientific platforms and data collections. Comprehensive services are intended to improve accessibility for all research communities. The RIECS-Concept project will produce two main deliverables: a conceptual design including a feasibility study and a five-year implementation plan for the new research infrastructure.
This first event offers the opportunity to learn about the project and to contribute your own perspectives, needs and solutions. Contributions from different disciplines and backgrounds are welcome.
