EU–Uganda Study Fair
In coordination with the Ministry of Education and Sports and Makerere University, the EU Delegation to Uganda is planning to organise an EU–Uganda Study Fair in June 2026 on the Makerere University campus. The event will form part of the celebrations marking 50 years of EU–Uganda cooperation. The fair is envisaged as a one-day event bringing together EU Member States, European universities, and Ugandan institutions to:
1) Present study and scholarship opportunities in Europe;
2) Promote academic partnerships and higher education capacity building;
3) Facilitate matchmaking between Ugandan and European higher education institutions;
4) Showcase EU-funded research collaborations, including under Horizon Europe and
5) Potentially include the official send-off of the Erasmus+ 2026 scholarship recipients.
