His Excellency, the ambassador of Oman, Yousuf A. Aljabri, accompanied by his deputy, Dr. Saleh Alkharusi, met the new managing director of the OeAD-GmbH, Jakob Calice, PhD, today. The OeAD and Oman have had close relationships for many years.
Since 2012 the OeAD has advised more than one hundred scholarship holders within the framework of a scholarship agreement with Oman. The cooperation partner in Oman is the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). The Omani Embassy in Vienna supports the OeAD in looking after the scholarship holders and is available to them as a contact point. Today's meeting was a first get-together, which created the basis for further good cooperation, the necessity of which was emphasised by both sides.
