University of Salzburg and Fudan Universität negotiate higher education cooperation

Vertreter der Universität Salzburg und der Fudan Universität sitzen an einem Sitzungstisch und verhandeln gemeinsam mit Alexandra Wagner vom OeAD-Kooperationsbüro Shanghai eine Hochschulkooperation.
Professor Arne Bathke, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Salzburg, visited Fudan University in Shanghai on July 10th and negotiated a possible cooperation between the two universities.

The aim of Mr. Bathke's business trip was to initiate cooperation between the University of Salzburg and Fudan University, particularly in the fields of European Studies, International Relations, Data Science and Spinal cord regeneration studies, and to implement an exchange programme for students from the two universities.

For this reason Alexandra Wagner, head of the OeAD Cooperation Office and Austrian Center Shanghai, organised and accompanied Mr. Bathke's visit to the five faculties of Fudan University. Here he met the Secretary General of the Fudan Development Institute (FDDI), Chen Yinzhang, the Deputy Head of the Foreign Affairs Office (FAO), Tang Wenqing, the Dean of the School of International Relations and Public Affairs (SIRPA), Professor Jing Yijia, the Vice Dean Professor Zhang Ji, the Head of the Center for People-to-People Exchange Studies, Professor Su, the Vice Dean of the School of Data Science, Gao Weiguo and the Deputy Head of the Rehabilitation Center of the Huashan Hospital of Fudan University, Zhu Yulian.
